Sales Developer – Brussels

Are you passionate about sales and have a strong affinity with the beer sector? Do you enjoy working to targets and have a nose for new sales opportunities? Then this could be the job for you! The Haelterman Group, headquartered in Ternat, currently employs around 350 people and comprises a number of companies with an outstanding reputation in the beverage sector. The Group includes HLS, Belgium’s largest independent drinks distributor, VA.S.Co, a wine and spirits specialist and distributor of Másalto coffee, and Carlsberg Importers SA. The Group also markets its own brands, including TAO and Bionina. For Carlsberg Importers SA, with well-known brands such as Carlsberg, Somersby, etc., we are looking for a Sales Developer with a focus on beer brands for the Brussels region.

Vos responsabilités

  • As a Sales Developer, you will act as an ambassador for our exclusive range of premium brands;
  • You are responsible for the introduction of our beer and cider brands (Carlsberg, St. Hubertus, Somersby, etc.) to our Horeca customers, both in bottles and kegs.
    You will also be responsible for managing our beverage traders;
  • You explore the market and seek out new opportunities and contacts in the sector, working closely with other colleagues in the sales team;
  • You maintain a lasting relationship with existing customers and listen to their satisfaction levels and needs;
  • You will work closely with the marketing department to develop promotions at customer sites and at horéca trade fairs;
  • As a Sales Developer, you will be responsible for the administrative management of your customer portfolio;
  • You ensure the correct processing of visit reports and commercial conditions in the CRM (Salesforce);
  • You prepare your weekly reports with the Regional Sales Manager;
  • Your commercial and analytical spirit helps you in negotiations and investment files;
  • You will work closely with the legal department to draft and negotiate new customer and investment contracts;
  • As a Sales Developer specializing in beer and cider brands, you’ll keep abreast of new trends and developments in the sector and in the horéca market.

Votre profil

  • You have experience in sales (as a sales representative, account manager, sales rep…), and preferably already have a network in the Brussels region;
  • You are customer-oriented and you communicate perfectly in French and possibly also in Dutch. If you are bilingual FR/NL, this is a real asset;
  • You are both Farmer and Hunter: in addition to handling and managing existing customers, you prospect and cross-sell; You enjoy working in a dynamic, results-oriented environment;
  • You are dynamic and assertive and can work flexibly and independently;
  • You have a perfect command of MS Office (particularly Excel), and knowledge of SalesForce CRM is an asset;
  • You have a good geographical knowledge of the Brussels region.
