Credit Controller

Vos responsabilités
- As Credit Controller, you will be responsible for the complete monitoring of the credit control process of a customer portfolio. This includes releasing orders, checking open items, setting and monitoring payment terms and credit limits.
- You’ll take action on late payments and ensure effective follow-up of unpaid invoices, both by e-mail and by telephone.
- With a diplomatic and assertive approach, you’ll always be able to find solutions that minimize credit risk.
- You’ll work independently, while also collaborating effectively with colleagues from different departments, such as finance, sales, legal and logistics.
- In the event of disputes or other problems, you can contact them to work together to find the right solution.
- You will oversee the correct processing of bank statements and manage customer balances.
- With your three colleagues, you report to the Credit & Collection TeamLead.
Votre profil
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent through experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in debt collection.
- Solid knowledge of MS Office and good command of Excel.
- Bilingual in Dutch/French with basic knowledge of English.
- Excellent communication skills, assertive, practical and collaborative, with a focus on customer relations.
- Asset: knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics.
