Facility Manager

IMRECA NV is responsible for managing our growing asset portfolio, which includes around 250 owned and leased properties, as well as the Group’s various subsidiaries, buildings and private rentals.

For the operational and technical management of our various buildings and private premises, we are looking for a Facility Manager.

In this wide-ranging position, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks with varying responsibilities.

Vos responsabilités

  • You fully manage the asset portfolio from A to Z, working proactively on technical files and property maintenance plans. You draw them up and adjust them according to needs and legislation.
  • You visit our properties daily to get a clear picture of what is still needed to meet the new standards.
  • You are responsible for relations with (sub)contractors, experts, etc.
  • You manage contracts with energy and gas suppliers, maintenance of common areas and invoicing.
  • You check compliance with cleaning and maintenance requirements, as well as the necessary checks on electrical installations, for example. You keep track of certifications and compliance requirements. In this way, you ensure that all warehouses, offices and premises are in perfect condition.
  • You will be responsible for all aspects of project management, including drawing up specifications, requesting, analyzing and negotiating bids.
  • You contribute to the well-being and safety of employees in the depots by overseeing safety coordination and procedures in collaboration with the prevention consultant.
  • You manage appraisals with the insurance company and draw up the necessary follow-up procedures.
  • You can react quickly to any situation, thanks to a network of professionals you can count on for renovations, maintenance or urgent repairs. All work is monitored by you.
  • You coordinate the various tasks within the team according to the area of expertise (billing follow-up, technical interventions, troubleshooting, etc.).
  • You are responsible to our Facility Coordinator, who reports to you.
  • In addition, you will be in charge of other projects linked to our facilities management (recharging stations, optimizing office space, digital reception, etc.).

Votre profil

  • In addition to a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, you have at least 10 years’ experience in facilities management.
  • You have experience in project management combined with a broad technical knowledge of HVAC, electricity, electromechanics, energy, etc.
  • You know how to get things done, identify the work to be done and take the initiative; you’re pragmatic.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French and have at least a basic knowledge of English.
  • You can easily cope with last-minute changes and the pressure of deadlines, and are flexible and available (in agreement with your colleagues, even at weekends) for emergencies outside working hours.
  • You’re self-motivated and goal-oriented, you like to document and administration doesn’t scare you. You know how to set priorities and adopt a problem-solving approach.
  • You will be based in Ternat, but will be prepared to travel to other sites in Wandre, Deerlijk and Ostend, as well as to various properties throughout the country (60% of the Brussels region).
