A story from father to son
The Haelterman Group’s history of beverage distribution dates back to 1928.
The family business began with Albert Haelterman, who set up a drinks business in his garage.
A few years later, his son Jacques, then aged 17, decided to take over the reins and marked a turning point in the group’s history by obtaining the rights to import the Danish brand Carlsberg into the Belgian market in 1964.
